Can I sign my financing documents electronically?

Updated today

Yes, you can complete the entire financing process on Fortify online, including signing your loan or payment plan documents.

Fortify is here to make the process of applying for financing and signing your documents as easy as we can for you. Here's what you need to know:

Electronic signing consent

Your financing agreement - whether a payment plan, a loan packet with Fortify, or a loan packet with a third-party bank or credit union partner of Fortify - is a legally binding document. As part of the application process, you will verify your email, which helps to establish that it’s really you who is signing the documents. When you create an account and sign your financing packet, you will need to consent to use electronic records and signatures in your transactions with Fortify. This consent ensures that all parties agree to the terms and conditions of using electronic means for signing and storing documents. It's important to remember that electronic signatures are legally binding, and are recognized by law in most jurisdictions.

Benefits of signing electronically

It’s a hassle to print out documents and sign them with pen and paper. Electronic signing allows you to complete the financing process from the comfort of your home or from any location where you have access to the internet. There is no need to visit a physical office or to mail in paperwork.

If you don’t have regular access to an electronic computer or internet connection, options are available. Please call Fortify support at the number listed on our website and we’ll be happy to help assist you to the best of our ability.
